Google quietly adds features to it which you can use to make more out of gmail.

One of such feature, whcih is launched recently is Gmail OFFLINE . Through this you can check your mails while you are not connected to the internet. You access your inbox through your browser and use Gmail’s familiar features when you’re offline. To get started, enable this lab and then click on the “Offline” link in the upper-right of your inbox.

Check it out now. You can find LAbs button on top right of your GMAIL page ones you’ve succesfully logged in.
