Gmail Offline – Are you using it?

I keep on visiting Google Labs section when i login to check mails on Gmail. Google quietly adds features to it which you can use to make more out of gmail.

One of such feature, whcih is launched recently is Gmail OFFLINE . Through this you can check your mails while you are not connected to the internet. You access your inbox through your browser and use Gmail’s familiar features when you’re offline. To get started, enable this lab and then click on the “Offline” link in the upper-right of your inbox.

Check it out now. You can find LAbs button on top right of your GMAIL page ones you’ve succesfully logged in.

Gmail Down – Error 500

Once again GMAIL , mail service by gmail is down as reported by people all over AISA and Europe. Even I’m one of those affected by this calamity (lol) . Through years Gmail has been more than a reliable mail service provider which attracted millions of users to jump to it from other mail providers. Out there, majority of webmasters are using Gmail (out of free services) as an Email Service, hence this types of breakdown make them cry.

This is the second breakdown after Feb, 2009 which was reported by google http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/update-on-todays-gmail-outage.html .

I’ve attached the error screen shot below

So if you see this error then don’t conclude that its something personal. Hope this will be corrected by GMAIL team as soon as possible.
